CHERYL Cole has been away from The X Factor judging panel for the last three years, but if Simon Cowell has his way, she'd be back tomorrow.
Sadly for SyCo, the Girls Aloud singer is still unable to decide whether a return to the singing show is right for her.

“She’s not sure whether taking the job is the right thing. Cheryl associates her last season there with a really hard time in her life and that’s her biggest mental hurdle," a source told the Mirror.
Adding: “It was when she was going through her divorce and had just had malaria. Although she loves the show, that season was really intense and hard work with her finalists."
And on top of that, the 30-year-old had the embarrassment of being fired from the X Factor US judging panel.
The insider went on to say: “Cheryl is in a good place – the best she’s ever been. Simon is after her but she’s having to do some real soul-searching to see if she really wants to throw herself back into the spotlight.”

At the beginning of the month it was thought the Fight For This Love star's return was a sure thing, with a source telling the Daily Star: “Talks have been going on for weeks and Simon has been doing everything to persuade her."
"Finally she has agreed. Simon believed Cheryl’s return was the key to his new ideas for the show," they added.
